Two gripes that I just need to share with someone...anyone.

1) Why oh why does my roommate use so much toilet paper? I put a NEW roll of toilet paper out on Sunday evening right before I left to go to my boyfriend's house. I've been staying at his house for the past few days because it's more conducive to studying, and returned today to find that not only is the new roll that I put on the toilet paper dispense is now empty, there is also another empty roll that is on the counter. Apparently she used the second roll so fast that she didn't have time to put it on the toilet dispenser roll either! WTH! Who uses 2 whole rolls of toilet paper in 4 days. Oh, and this isn't the first time this has happened...

2) As many of you know, I'm one of 7 bridesmaids in a wedding in mid-March. I received my outfits in the mail today. One is the traditional vietnamese "aoi dai" dress. It's supposed to be custom made to fit you perfect and I was measured and everything for it. Well, somehow within the inches to centimeters conversion that was done, the dress is too small and I can't fit into it. Now, mind you, I have not gained weight since my fitting in December...if anything I've lost a lot of weight from not eating as much as I should. Anyhow, my arms don't even fit into the arm holes and it looks like sausage casings now...and my boobs (and mind you, I'm a 5'1" lil Asian girl, so while it's ample for my body type it has never been a problem in fitting clothes) are apparently "too big" and the dress doesn't even button up. I have no idea what went wrong here...and since the dresses were custom made in Viet Nam, I'm not even sure if it's even going to be fixable in time for the wedding. Oh...and I might say, it's an ugly fabric. Hot pink, lime green, white, and black geometric shapes. My mom is convinced that the bride's mom (who picked the fabric) is out to get the bridesmaid. Apparently in old Vietnamese culture, you would pick ugly bridesmaids or at least put them in ugly outfits so that the bride looks better in comparison, and my mom took one look at the fabric and said, "her mom totally did this to you guys!" Additionally, the evening bridesmaid dress (this ugly marine blue Wtoo dress) is a size too big for me...so when I tried on the strapless little number, it just completely slipped down to my waist (see note above about not having big boobs). So, not only did I drop $330 for this ugly marine blue dress, I have to go drop more money to have this blue dress let in and the traditional Viet dress let out...within 2 weeks. AUGH! And when I called the bride to tell her that she had measured me wrong, her response was "oops." She's lucky she's like my sister and I love her...cause otherwise I'd burn the dresses and call it a day.

Whew...ok...complaining done. Thank you for this opportunity.
